The Museum of Geometric and MADI Art in Dallas is seeking entrants for its fourth Biennial, with an entry deadline of April 15, 2017. Approximately thirty entries selected by Juror Magdalena Arria of Caracas, Venezuela, will be exhibited in the Museum between July 28 and October 22, 2017. At the opening on July 28th, three prizes of $2,000, $1,000, and $500, created in honor of Helen Manning, will be awarded.
If you wish to enter, email the Museum with your name, address, phone number and we will mail the application with complete rules and entry form to you. You may then enter up to three pieces of geometric art created within the last two years. Last year’s first prize went to Elvira Daeter of the Netherlands. The winners in the first two cycles were Texas artists.
The Museum of Geometric and MADI Art opened in 2003 and displays geometric and MADI art from around the world. Exhibits in the past year included French, Italian, Israeli, Iranian, and Japanese as well as American artists.
